Kadayawan 2025 just got even more vibrant- this time, at sea.

Dabawenyo content creators, vloggers, and digital storytellers gathered on board MASINAG, the largest vessel of 2GO Travel, for a one-of-a-kind meet and greet hosted by the City Government of Davao. The event, held August 4 at Sasa Port, was part of the ongoing Hiyas sa Kadayawan celebrations.

Spearheading the partnership was Mr. Francis O. Chua, Senior Assistant Vice President and Head of Travel of 2GO Travel, who personally welcomed guests aboard the luxury-like ship. With the comfort and amenities of a hotel, MASINAG wowed visitors with its clean, spacious interiors and premium sea travel vibe. Currently bound for General Santos, Davao, and Metro Manila, the vessel is redefining the local travel experience.

In her closing message, City Councilor Myrna Dalodo-Ortiz, Chair of the Committee on Tourism and Beautification, expressed heartfelt thanks to 2GO and all the creators present.

“Salamat kaayo. Through your talents, the world gets to see Kadayawan not just in colors, but in stories, in smiles, in spirit,” she said.

The event was capped off with a tour around MASINAG, where guests were given a glimpse of what world-class sea travel can look like, proudly docked in Davao.
