The Rotary Clubs in Davao City under Rotary District 3860 will host Blood Donation Drive 2025.

Bannering the theme, “Be a Hero, Save a Life,” this annual event is slated on July 20, 2025 from 8:00AM to 12:00 noon at Stella Maris Academy (SMAD) in Bo. Obrero Davao City.

“We are calling on civic-minded companies to send their employees and participate in this event as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility,” said Dr. Maribel Vilela, District Community Service Chair, District 3860 during the Wednesday Media Forum of Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) at Abreeza Ayala Mall.

Rotary District 3860 Governor Jong Fernandez said the event is a massive blood donation activity across Visayas and Mindanao.

“This will be a simultaneous event to held Davao, Cebu, Bohol, Samar and other key cities in Mindanao, Eastern Visayas and Negros Oriental under Rotary District 3860,” Fernandez said.

Here in Davao, Rotary Club of Waling-waling Davao leads the event together with Rotary Club South Davao.

“We expect gather at least 300 bags of blood in each of the 7 blood donation sites,” he added.

This event is in time with the National Blood Donor’s Month observed every July in the Philippines as declared by Presidential Proclamation No. 1021.

Other collaborators of this event include Stella Mariz Academy of Davao, SMAD PTA, Sub-National Blood Center Mindanao and Davao City Water District. #DavaoBulletin
